AREA STUDIES PROGRAM COORDINATORS-LEVEL 1
JTG is currently seeking Area Studies Program Coordinators.

Location:  Maryland, Texas, Georgia, Hawaii, Alaska, and Germany
Status: Full-time

Responsibilities:
  • Arrange Area Studies course and  speaker presentation schedules to meet training schedules in coordination with Security and Curriculum Manager 
  • Manage all administrative arrangements for delivering the training to Government employees. 
  • Document the Area Studies Program of courses and seminars in the foreign language or in English for foundational, intermediate and advanced training. 
  • Leverage existing programs in the Government or private sector
  • Identify potential instructors/speakers and locations to provide Area Studies training for both face-to-face and eLearning venues in the target language and/or English
  • Record (video and audio tape) seminars and events and provide material to Government to allow for reproduction and distribution of seminars to other members of Government
  • Compile and maintain database of Area Studies training, including researched and conducted/not conducted training
  • Collect student feedback for courses and provide to Government in order to identify possible areas requiring change/improvement (content, instructors and delivery methodologies)
  • Meet skill level requirements for Microsoft Outlook Level 1, Excel Level 1, PowerPoint Level 1 and Word Level 1 as described in SOW Appendix A
Basic Qualifications:
  • Three years’experience in managing, coordinating and delivering training for adult learners using ISD standards
  • Three  years’experience managing, coordinating and delivering both face-to-face and eLearning training
  • Three years’experience in areas of interest to the Government and Intelligence Community, such as the Far East (to include China, Korea, Japan, Nepal), the Near East (to include AF/PAK, India, Afghanistan, Iran, Turkey, Middle East nations, Arabic-speaking North Africa), the Americas, Europe, Asia, Sub-Saharan Africa, and Global Issues
  • Two years’ experience drafting and following standard operating procedures and checklists
  • Current TS/SCI
Preferred Qualifications:

Five years’experience in the areas of interest to the Government and Intelligence Community, such as history, technology, finance, economics, military, political systems, social organizations, SIGINT, military intelligence, and/or Intelligence Community Operations

Education:

B.A./B.S. in a related field or an additional four years of practical work experience
