BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT SPECIALIST

JTG is currently seeking a Business Development Specialist to join the Business Development Team at JTG HQ.

Location: Vienna, VA

Status: Full-Time

Responsibilities:

• Support the capture and proposal development efforts of new opportunities, from inception to delivery to include coordinating timelines, managing proposal calendars, and deliverable statuses with various departments throughout the company
• Monitor, evaluate, research, collect information, and brief Management on opportunities
• Update opportunity database with pertinent information
• Analyze RFIs and Sources Sought requirements and respond in line with Opportunity Strategy and Company interests upon approval from the BD Manager
• Support the development of proposal tools and templates
• Capture action items during meetings and color-team reviews and incorporate feedback into draft proposal documents 
• Perform Desktop Publishing (DTP), create/edit graphics, and format and edit documents in compliance with solicitation requirements and JTG standards
• Some evening and weekend work may be necessary due to the nature of this position
• Other duties assigned as needed per JTG Management

Basic Qualifications:

• US Citizenship
• Excellent English writing skills
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and DTP tools, such as Adobe InDesign

Preferred Qualifications:

• One to two years of proposal experience
• Active security clearance is desirable, but not a must
• A college degree in English, Foreign Language, Business, Communications, or Marketing is desirable

Education:

A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution is required (degree in a related field preferred)
