SPANISH TRANSLATOR AND INTERPRETER

JTG is currently seeking a Spanish Translator and Interpreter to support JTG’s customer for a full year.

Location: Puerto Rico

Duration: 1 year

Requirements for Successful Candidates:

• US citizenship
• Bachelor's degree
• High oral and written proficiency in both Spanish and English
• Minimum of five years of experience in translation, triage, and summarization
• Minimum of five years of experience conducting consecutive and simultaneous interpretation
• Knowledge of specialized vocabulary in both English and Spanish used in legal and social services systems
• Knowledge of language register, regional colloquialisms, and slangs expressions with intelligible pronunciation
• Ability to multitask in a fast paced work environment
• Willingness to undergo a background investigation
• Federal court certification is preferred
