TECHNICAL PROJECT MANAGER

JTG is currently seeking a Technical Project Manager
 

Location: Annapolis Junction, MD

Status: Full-Time

Responsibilities:

  • Act as the lead architect/front-end developer of modules driven by data for e-learning applications.
  • Manage highly qualified personnel, and quality assurance of delivered products.
  • Provide direction for a team of programmers and designers, as the lead of Language Technology Services.
  • Oversee the design and develop training programs customized to the needs of each classroom.
  • Establish production, quality assurance, and communication procedures.
  • Oversee the interactive activities, assessments as well as audio/video content using customized web applications.
 

Basic qualifications:

  • US citizenship
  • Minimum of 5 years project management experience in a multicultural setting
  • A strong background in designing and programing e-learning materials
  • A minimum of five years of experience working in the foreign language educational field
  • Ability to handle deliverables and implementation in a timely manner and provide reports on a short notice, if needed
  • Strong knowledge of Flex, Flash, ActionScript, JavaScript, AJAX, PHP, CSS, HTML5, XSLT AND XML
 

Preferred qualifications:

Previous or current advisory role on technology issues related to e-learning
 

Education:

A minimum of a Master’s degree in Instructional Technology, Instructional Design, Computer Science (or a related field) or three years equivalent in experience.


Position reports to Team Lead.
