Global Vendor Manager

JTG is currently seeking a Global Vendor Manager to join its Headquarters Staff

Location: Vienna, VA

Status: Full-Time


Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain and improve Vendor Management strategies quality criteria and procedures as company evolves
• Actively recruit and manage new vendors (instructor, localization engineers, subject-matter experts, editors, DTP, voice-over artists, writers) to consistently meet the needs of our customers
• Work closely with the project management teams to ensure that these needs are met.
• Consistently update vendor documents and policies

Requirements for Successful Candidates:

• Vendor recruitment and qualification
• Create and supply translation sample tests to be evaluated for potential new vendors.
• Vendor performance monitoring
• Rate negotiations
• Vendor selection
• Internal system/process development
• Strong organizational skills
• US Citizenship

Critical Competencies:

• Social Media skills
• Prior experience in language acquisition, localization, international communications
• Familiarity with database management
• Excellent English writing skills
• Ability to work productively as a team member

Position reports to the Director of Recruiting and Human Resources
