We are currently looking to add an amazing Social Media Specialist to our team. Our dream candidate not only has experience in social media that drives business results but also is eager to develop, engage and grow our audience all while delivering world-class customer service.

The Social Media Specialist will implement the company’s Social Media strategy. Administration includes content strategy, developing brand awareness, generating inbound traffic, reputation management, and participating in conversations to further build brand awareness across a variety of key audiences (Fortune 500 and Federal Government).

 
The Social Media Specialist is a highly motivated individual with experience and a passion for designing and implementing the Company’s content strategy, creating relevant content.

 
Responsibilities
 
  • Review and update all social platforms daily
  • Maintain active and engaging social presence
  • Evaluate social media technologies to assess if new approaches would be applicable
  • Write / design content for online initiatives
  • Develop and maintain ongoing content and social calendars that are up-to-date and consistent with branding and messaging
  • Ensure online content adheres to latest SEO best practices
  • Utilize and react to all social platform statistics on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis
  • Grow our presence through social media platforms
  • Ensure brand and identity are represented according to the company policies
  • Research topics for compelling, education-entertainment content
  • Create design mock-ups
  • Write and proofread original content
  • Maintain & update the company website

Requirements for successful candidates
 
  • Degree in Marketing, Social Media or other relevant degree and/or experience
  • An energetic, flexible, and approachable work style
  • 1+ years of relevant experience at a marketing tech company, digital agency or client-side creative group in social media strategy
  • Experience driving innovation and using social media strategy and execution to affect the bottom line
  • Extraordinary communications skills
  • Hands-on experience executing day-to-day social media communication as well as setting the strategy
  • Expert knowledge of using Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google+ for businesses and experience using Instagram, Snapchat, Tumblr and others
  • Top notch presentation skills with the ability to articulate a compelling vision and strategy
  • Experience with content creation, design and the Adobe Suite
  • Proven ability to collaborate with teams outside of marketing (Sales, Product, HR, and Partners) in ways that support and enhance their efforts
  • Exceptional copywriting and editing skills a plus
