Indonesian and/or Malay Simultaneous Interpreters and Linguists with TS/SCI Clearance

JTG is currently seeking Indonesian and/or Malay Simultaneous Interpreters and Linguists with TS/SCI clearance.

Location: Washington, DC

Status: Full-time or freelance, as needed

This position is contingent upon contract award.

Responsibilities:

• Provide translation, interpreting, and transcription services in support of Commissions hearings and interviews held at US Naval Station
• Convey colloquial, idiomatic, and formal discourse through simultaneous interpreting
• Translate general and technical legal materials
• Transcribe English audio/video discovery materials

Basic Qualifications:

• Possess Top Secret clearance with TS/SCI eligibility
• Tested at ILR 4 in listening, reading, writing, and speaking
• Available for travel for extended periods of time

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in legal/court environment and terminology

This position reports to the Program Manager.
