JTG is seeking Cleared Chinese Linguists with TS/SCI and CI Poly
Languages: Chinese Mandarin
Location: Washington, DC; Salt Lake City, UT; or possibly other locations in the United States
Timeline: Full-time, long-term
Responsibilities:
- Translate and interpret between source and target languages.
- Apply familiarity with military, scientific, IT, legal, and socio-economic fields and/or socio-economic matters/events.
- Conduct cultural, linguistic, and contextual analysis of translated materials.
- Perform quality reviews.
Basic Qualifications:
- Tested proficiency in English and Chinese Mandarin
- TS/SCI clearance and CI Poly
- Proven experience in language services, linguistics, or language-enabled analysis
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proficiency in the foreign language at ILR 3 or higher
- Proficiency in more than two of the listed languages
Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred.
