Chinese or Uzbek Linguists with Top Secret clearance

JTG is seeking Cleared Linguists with Top Secret clearance

Languages: Mandarin Chinese or Uzbek

Location: Washington, DC; Salt Lake City, UT; or possibly other locations in the United States

Timeline: Full-time, long-term

Responsibilities:

• Translate and transcribe from the foreign language into English 
• Apply familiarity with military, scientific, IT, legal, and socio-economic fields and/or socio-economic matters/events.
• Conduct cultural, linguistic, and contextual analysis of translated materials.
• Perform quality reviews.

Basic Qualifications:

• Proficiency in English and the foreign language
• Proven experience in language services, linguistics, or language-enabled analysis
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

• Top Secret clearance
• SCI and CI Poly or willingness to undergo the process. 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Tested proficiency in the foreign language at ILR 3 or higher

Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred.
