Target Language Experts 

JTG is currently seeking Target Language Experts in Belarusian, Chinese Wu (Shanghai), Chinese Min (Southern), Georgian, Hungarian, and Kinyarwanda. 

Location: remote (work from home)

Volume: short project

Responsibilities:

• Translate, transcribe, and review authentic audio and written target-language passages and provide detailed notes about the translation of complex vocabulary and structures used.

Basic Qualifications:

• Native or near-native proficiency in the language
• Academic and/or professional background in linguistics, second language teaching, assessment, or translation
• Technological capability of using Microsoft Office applications

Preferred Qualifications

• Translation experience or familiarity with translation principles
• Experience with content development for assessment
• Cultural understanding and basic knowledge of linguistic terminology

Education: Bachelor's degree or higher

This position reports to the Project Manager.
