Spanish Interpreters and Translators

 

JTG is currently seeking Spanish Interpreters/Translators.

 

Location: Honduras

 

Status: Full-Time

 

Duration: Assignments will be ongoing between December 28^th, 2021, to July 31^st, 2022.

 

Responsibilities:

• Provide simultaneous and consecutive interpretation services for briefings, meetings, conference calls, video-teleconferences, on-line collaboration sessions, face-to-face meetings, and social events.
• Provide document translation services including proof-reading, editing, and final layout of materials.

 

Basic Qualifications:

• Able to work at one of the following locations: Soto Cano Air Base (SCAB); Puerto Castilla Naval Base (PCNB), Colon; Gracias a Dios (GAD) HQ, 5th IN Battalion, Mocoron; Tegucigalpa (TEGU)
• Perform simultaneous interpretation, consecutive interpretation, and document translation from Spanish to English and English to Spanish.
• Possess knowledge of military terminology related to Security and Military Operations.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working at US Embassies, US Army South, US Southern Command or another US Federal Agency, in Civil-Military Affairs.

This position reports to the Program Manager.
