Spanish Interpreters for Disaster Response in Texas
JTG is currently seeking professional interpreters in the following language combination:
- Spanish into English, and English into Spanish
Location: Texas
This position is contingent upon contract award.
Requirements:
- US citizenship or permanent residence status
- Residence in Texas
- Experience as a professional interpreter
- Must have reliable transportation
- Available to work onsite in Harris, Montgomery, Calhoun, Guadalupe, or Dallas county
- Available from August 2024 to November 2024 on a full-time or part-time basis
- High school diploma or equivalent at the minimum
Preferred qualifications:
- Community (including medical) interpreter training
- Court or medical interpreting experience
- Interpreter certification
