Position: Open-Source Researcher / Analyst

Status: Contingent upon contract award

Clearance: Active Secret clearance with at least one year remaining before reinvestigation

About the position: The role will focus on conducting in-depth research and analysis using Publicly Available Information from unclassified open sources. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and adept at transforming raw data into clear, cons ice reports that support program objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive research using a wide array of online, unclassified sources.
  • Analyze and synthesize collected data to identify trends, patterns, and key insights.
  • Draft, edit, and finalize detailed research reports, summaries, and briefings.
  • Manage and organize research data effectively using the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet reporting deadlines and fulfill analytical requirements

Required Qualifications

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Possess an active Secret security clearance with at least one year remaining before the next reinvestigation.
  • A Bachelor of Science (BS) or Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in any field of study.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in using online unclassified sources to conduct Publicly Available Information (PAI) research and reporting.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Degree in Political Science, International Relations, Area Studies, Economics, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Counter Threat Finance (CTF), or general banking compliance.
  • Prior military experience in intelligence, such as Army 35F, Air Force 1N series, Navy IS, or other service equivalents.

This position reports to Senior Research Analyst.
