Language Training Coordinator in Monterey-CA

JTG is seeking a Language Training Coordinator in Monterey, CA. Join our team and contribute to the success of our language training programs.

Location: Monterey, CA
Availability: Immediate
Job Type: Part-time, with potential for increased hours or full-time position

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate the staffing and onboarding of instructors for short-term classes in Monterey, CA.
• Assist the Program Manager in booking travel and accommodations.
• Conduct class observations as needed.
• Assist with on-the-ground logistics for new instructors.
• Report to the Program Manager regarding instructor staffing logistics.

Requirements:

• U.S. citizenship or permanent residency
• U.S. military experience
• Two years’ experience in foreign language teaching or curriculum development
• Experience with Microsoft Office
• Strong communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Retired military personnel
• Experience with Interagency Language Roundtable (ILR) scale teaching materials
• Experience working with military linguists
• Proficiency in a second language

Education: Associate degree or higher
